Click on this link for a map showing Ringstead

Ringstead is situated about 4 miles inland from Hunstanton, a traditional seaside resort, famous for its sunsets across the Wash and for kite and wind surfing. Nearby are the quieter sandy beaches of Brancaster and Holme-next-the-Sea.  Further afield is the famous beach at Holkham, used as a setting for the film Shakespeare in Love.
Children will enjoy the playground next to the church, with swings, slides and roundabout.

The village is on the path of Peddars' Way, an ancient route stretching from Thetford to the North Norfolk coast and so it is an ideal base for walking or cycling with undulating terrain and numerous pretty villages to visit.
Ringstead Downs is an area of chalky grasslands famous for its wild flowers in the spring and early summer.
The area is also well known for bird watching with local reserves at Snettisham and Tichwell Marsh (both RSPB) and the National Trust reserve at Brancaster Staithe.
